Weird thing about me: I really love backs. They’re sexy. Especially if she (the girl who the back is upon) has soft skin. I don’t know what it is, but I just like them a lot.
Sometimes it feels like I’m one hundred people, sometimes it feels like there’s one hundred people I ought to be, and sometimes it feels like there’s one hundred people I’d rather be.
And suddenly, with that kiss, it was as though she became his heart, his mind, and everything he held dear.
I spend a lot of my time listening to music and watching television and movies. If I have free time, that’s what I’m doing. I finally figured out why I love it all so much. When I listen to music-and I mean really listen to music, not just letting it fill up the silence in the background-it all sort of comes alive in my mind. The lyrics dancing about in my imagination until it forms a scene in my imagination, flowing perfectly with the instruments in the background controlling the action. Even with classical music I create spectacular, emotional, powerful scenes in my head if the music is powerful and emotional.
There is a special group of people that can listen to music, see it in their minds, and paint or draw exactly what they see. Sort of like that, I see elaborate scenes come together in my mind and its incredible, but I can’t draw or paint to the point of what I imagine, so it stays hidden away in my mind.
I’m really picky about what I watch, if I can’t connect with it I don’t watch it. I watch movies and television because I like to get lost them. I become attached to the characters and the story and I really enjoy it. I abandon reality and immerse myself in it, and sometimes it feels like I become part of the story and I think like the character and its immense fun. It gives me the opportunity to be something for a little while that I never could be in reality. Most of the time it gives me amazing ideas that only get written down a small portion of the time.
I love to see the creativity and the genius come out in a good movie or show or really amazing song. Its just really, properly astounding.
Due to recent events, death and sadness have been a pretty common conversation.
I am done with it.
I am about to say something very important, make sure you are paying attention.
YOU ARE GOING TO DIE.
Did you catch that? You are going to die!
That’s right, it’s true.
Everybody that ever has and ever will live will also die.
Death is sad, but only if you make it sad.
Most people know somebody that died. You were probably sad when you found out, right? But after awhile you stopped being sad and you accepted that they were gone.
That is the most important part of all.
You accept that they are gone, you stop being sad, and you remember that once upon a time, they lived.
If you only focus on the death, you will never get over it and you won’t be happy.
Death should be scary. If you don’t live knowing that you will die, you will be scared of death for the wrong reason. Death is scary because it drives you to what you wouldn’t if you didn’t know you were going to die.
Be scared of every decision you didn’t make because you were too afraid to just try.
Every girl you never kissed, every trip you never took, every friend you didn’t make because you were afraid to try.
A Final Recap on Death:
1. YOU ARE GOING TO DIE!
2. Death is sad, until you accept it.
3. Remember them for living, not for dying.
4. Death is scary, but not as scary as living knowing you could have tried.
5. Regretting what you didn’t do is worse than regretting what you did.
6. You aren’t dead yet, make the right choices, do what you can while you can.
Post with 1 note
Life is full of beautiful things; don’t let them pass you by. People are beautiful things. When we die and leave the world with one less beautiful thing, does that mean it all wasn’t worth it? Life is so short, but it’s so extraordinarily long. So you can live like there’s no tomorrow, or you can look forward to the days on the front porch with the one you love, getting older every second.
Most people are afraid of death, afraid of dying. You should be absolutely mortified of death, and if you say you aren’t you’re lying. You shouldn’t be afraid of death because you might die, you will die. Be afraid of death for all the things you never did because you were too scared to try. Be afraid of every smile you never smiled and every kiss you never had. Be afraid of the love you never had because you were too nervous to give it a shot.
So just to recap:
-You are going to die.
-Be terrified of death, for the right reasons.
-Admit it, you’re afraid.
-Life is too short to give up on, but too long to throw away.
-Most importantly, if you’re reading this, you’re still alive.
No, sir, you are NOT by any means a libertarian. You have no idea what that word means and yet you proclaim to the world that you are a libertarian every chance you get. There are more than two qualifications for being a libertarian, none of them are being “pretty much atheist” or being pro-life. In fact just being pro-life pretty much instantly discounts you from being a libertarian. You probably don’t know a single belief of the libertarian party. Do you even know who Ron Paul is?
You also clearly don’t know what the words liberal or conservative mean. Being liberal does not mean that you are purely emotional, nor does being a conservative mean that you are purely logical.
Just because you half-correctly used the phrase Zero Sum Game to describe the economic philosophy of a democrat does not mean you are smart.
I can deal with idiots, as long as they accept that they are idiots and that they have no idea what they are talking about. You, however, are an idiot that pretends to be a genius. I can not stand people like you.
Little tip for the road, don’t learn economics and politics from an immensely biased, unintelligent “educator”.
