To read is to be near freedom. To write is to have it.

I spend a lot of my time listening to music and watching television and movies. If I have free time, that’s what I’m doing. I finally figured out why I love it all so much. When I listen to music-and I mean really listen to music, not just letting it fill up the silence in the background-it all sort of comes alive in my mind. The lyrics dancing about in my imagination until it forms a scene in my imagination, flowing perfectly with the instruments in the background controlling the action. Even with classical music I create spectacular, emotional, powerful scenes in my head if the music is powerful and emotional.

There is a special group of people that can listen to music, see it in their minds, and paint or draw exactly what they see. Sort of like that, I see elaborate scenes come together in my mind and its incredible, but I can’t draw or paint to the point of what I imagine, so it stays hidden away in my mind.

I’m really picky about what I watch, if I can’t connect with it I don’t watch it. I watch movies and television because I like to get lost them. I become attached to the characters and the story and I really enjoy it. I abandon reality and immerse myself in it, and sometimes it feels like I become part of the story and I think like the character and its immense fun. It gives me the opportunity to be something for a little while that I never could be in reality. Most of the time it gives me amazing ideas that only get written down a small portion of the time.

I love to see the creativity and the genius come out in a good movie or show or really amazing song. Its just really, properly astounding.
